Tried and True Content Amplification Tools

What good is fabulous content if nobody sees it? Here are four of our faves when it comes to getting your content in front of the audience it deserves:

Buzz Sumo
BuzzSumo is a handy tool to reality-check your content strategy — what’s performing, what’s not, what influencers are sharing — at every stage of the marketing process. It’s also invaluable for monitoring your competitors’ content. What are they doing that you’re not? Starter plans are currently $99 month for up to five users.

Flipboard
This free content curation app displays stories, articles, blog posts, social feeds, videos and other content in a magazine-like format. Consider it for refreshingly different sales presentations, trade show “look books” for your product lines, even staff training materials.

Skillshare
This online learning community offers on-demand access to thousands of pre-recorded video courses across a variety of interest areas — photography, film, fashion, technology, business, culinary and many more. Talk about exposure! Skillshare is the next big thing for establishing thought leadership and brand awareness. Currently free to post your own courses.

Twitter Website Card
Think of it as a tweet on steroids. Twitter’s Website Card makes it easy to drive qualified traffic to a special offer, blog post or landing page. Leverage targeting options like gender, geography and interests, target by keyword, or even specify users similar to your current followers. You set a daily maximum budget so you’re able to control your costs. Twitter even gives you online conversion tracking capabilities so you can easily monitor the effectiveness of your campaigns.

If you haven’t tried any of the above, considering adding them to the mix this year.
