West Orange, NJ, September 2017 — Each year, October brings to mind crisp weather, pumpkin picking, Halloween costumes and hayrides. But for Fahoury Ink, this month is all about the animals.
Since 2010, the company has celebrated October’s designation as National Adopt a Shelter Pet month by donating 10% of its gross billings to the West Orange Animal Welfare League (WOAWL) — over $18,000 to date.
Now the company, which provides content development and marketing services to mid-market businesses, is hoping to have its best October yet. Says Chief Creative Officer Lisa Fahoury, “We’re blessed with an incredible roster of clients who do their best to keep us busy, knowing that the end result is helping this wonderfully worthy cause.”
WOAWL is an all-volunteer organization that helps find forever homes for stray and abandoned pets across Essex County. Volunteers work hard to help reduce the number of healthy animals that are needlessly euthanized each year
According to WOAWL President Sandy Rubin, Fahoury Ink’s donation helps her organization get animals “adoption ready” — spaying or neutering, veterinary care and vaccines. Says Rubin, “Fahoury Ink’s donation makes it so much easier for us to continue with our goal to make a difference and see our furry friends enjoy the lives they deserve.”
